Re: the hatton garden job

I suppose it counts as entertainment if you're in your 70s.

Not many places you can run to these days and what there are don't seem to be especially good places for a 76-year-old to start a new life.

Anyone who makes fools out of the Met is alright in my book.
Going back the next night..fuckin took some bollocks that.

I think the Mets comments today said it all really.

Sven
I expect nothing less of the Rozzers, were called the filth in the day and with good reason
On an entirely different level, when my 16 yr old lad was 18mths, my wife took him and his 4yr old sister to a park, they were abused by herberts and their dog, a GSD chased him out of his buggy and grabbed his neck, fortunately caught the shirt so was not really serious - this was in rural North Bucks I add
I was at a pre season game in Peterborough and not overly impressed when she called and to add insult, plod could not give a shit
I rang Plod, and complained, daft bitch did not want to know, her attitude changed 180 degrees when I said dont worry petal, keep dishing out the parking tickets, I'll deal with this my way
Funny enough and perhaps fortunate for all concerned, I never did catch up with the cunts in spite of repeated visits

Copper does not need to give us ethnicity details. This robbery required planning and skilled, subtle execution.

Re: the hatton garden job
Just watching the Chief Plod announcing it on the bbc news.
Stands out that he says WHITE BRITISH MALES in an odd unnecessary way.
Police also very smug about the whole thing and trying to emphasise that catching them makes up for the utter balls up of ignoring the alarm.

I rather think we all saw that mate
The point is really not that obtuse

Re: the hatton garden job
And I fully agree with Mike .... Let's see if they do this next time some darker skinned chaps are arrested

JohnnyL 11:27 Tue May 19
Re: the hatton garden job
I am not saying that they shouldn't have been arrested. They face charges and an appropriate prison sentence but come on, there are far worse crimes .. Including stealing such items from a house while families are at home... But from a safe deposit box is surely different.

well done ted, you're the only one that got my original point, why the fuck was the old bill stating they were white?
fucking racists or what

Staffs-Hammer 11:09 Tue May 19
Re: the hatton garden job
I know it isn't a sex offence or terrorism but are people seriously suggesting the police should not have bothered arresting people who committed a crime?

Re: the hatton garden job
No wonder they were caught, WHITE BRITISH males living in London, they must have stood out like a sore thumb.

What's not callous about stealing people's personal possessions, much of it valued in the tens of thousands?

Just the Heard the police calling it " a callous crime" - must have missed something there!
